In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Buckhorn Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 20-3 victory over the Red Bird Cardinals.
The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Cordia (Hazard, KY). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Pineville (Pineville, KY). The Mountain Lions go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Pineville was overwhelmed by Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN), 11-1, in a non-league game.
