The Pineville Mountain Lions baseball team (Pineville, KY), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Cumberland Gap Panthers (Cumberland Gap, TN)
The Panthers now hold a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union County for a 3A District 4 outing on Monday, March 25. Cumberland Gap will confront a Patriots team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Northview Academy (Kodak, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 2-4.
Next, the Mountain Lions confront the Red Bird Cardinals (Beverly, KY) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 22. Pineville will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 20-3 non-league loss to Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY).
