The Westlake Rams crushed the host Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Rams now possess a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host St. Louis Catholic for a 3A District 3 bout on Saturday, March 23. Westlake will face a Saints team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Saints record now stands at 14-9.
In their next game, the Trailblazers battle the Lacassine Cardinals (Lacassine, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 25. Lake Charles College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 11-8 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Church Point (Church Point, LA).
