North Carolina High School Baseball - Pender loses to South Columbus

March 21, 2024: Burgaw, NC 28425

The Pender Patriots baseball team (Burgaw, NC), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC)

The Stallions now hold a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing on Monday, March 25. South Columbus will confront a Gators team coming off a 13-4 league loss to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Gators record now stands at 3-3.

Next, the Patriots confront the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing, on Monday, March 25. Pender will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 13-4 league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC).
