The Oakmont Vikings held off the host Ponderosa Bruins volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Vikings now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a test on Tuesday, April 2. Oakmont will confront a Fighting Zebras team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 0-5.

The Bruins (1-4) will now prepare for their test against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers enter the test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, West Park was nudged by Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
