The Woodland Christian Cardinals held off the host Sacramento Waldorf Waves volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Cardinals now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center for a non-league test on Saturday, March 23. Woodland Christian will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 league win over Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.

The Waves (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Encina Prep (Sacramento, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Central Valley California test with a 7-3 record.
