Alaska High School Basketball - Mt. Edgecumbe knocked off by Barrow

The Barrow Whalers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Mt. Edgecumbe Braves to 45 in the Whalers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Whalers now sport a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 23. Barrow will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 36-24 non-league win over Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK). The Grizzlies record now stands at 25-3.

The Braves (22-4) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 23-5 record. In their last contest, Monroe Catholic was outscored by Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK), 36-24, in a non-league contest.
