Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 10-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings face the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, March 26. Hoggard will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Screaming Eagle enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 10-1 league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC).

The Trojans now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Hanover for a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 26. West Brunswick will face a Wildcats team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
