The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA), saw Islands's soccer squad knock off Wayne County by a count of 2-0.

The Sharks now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Southeast Bulloch for a 4A Region 3 test on Tuesday, March 26. Islands will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Jenkins (Savannah, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Wayne County drops to 4-5 on the season. The Yellow jackets host New Hampstead (Savannah, GA) to meet the Phoenix in a 4A Region 3 test on Thursday, March 28. The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 3-10.
