In Thursday's league contest, the Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Santa Rosa, CA) lacrosse squad nipped the host Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA), by a count of 7-6.

Coming up next, the Cardinals confront the Justin-Siena Braves (Napa, CA) in a Vine Valley contest, on Monday, March 25. Cardinal Newman will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Braves enter the contest with a 5-3 record after their 11-0 league win over Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA).
