In Thursday's league test, the visiting Compton Tarbabes lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Downey Vikings.
The Tarbabes now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lakewood for a test on Tuesday, March 26.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 22. Downey will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Aztecs come into the test with a 3-8 record after their 9-4 non-league win over Lynwood (Lynwood, CA).
