The Cuthbertson Cavaliers lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates to 5 in the Cavaliers league win on Thursday.

The Cavaliers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Warriors go into the Southern Carolina/Rocky River match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Weddington prevailed over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 16-3, in a league match.

The Pirates (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack go into the Southern Carolina/Rocky River match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Parkwood was overwhelmed by Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 23-1, in a league match.
