North Carolina High School Softball - Clover Garden School bounces Ascend Leadership

March 21, 2024: Burlington, NC 27217

The Clover Garden School Grizzlies routed the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Grizzlies (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Vance Charter topped Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC), 19-0, in a non-league battle.

The Aviators now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chatham Charter for a Central Tar Heel 1A battle on Tuesday, March 26. Ascend Leadership will meet a Knights squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Lee Christian (Sanford, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
