The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS) and the visiting Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS), saw Myrtle's softball squad achieve victory over Ashland by a count of 25-0.

The Hawks now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jumpertown for a 1A Region 2 match on Tuesday, March 26. Myrtle will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 13-7 league loss to Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Ashland falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Pine Grove (Ripley, MS) to face the Panthers in a 1A Region 2 match on Tuesday, March 26. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 11-7. Pine Grove lost 5-3 in their recent non-league match against Ripley (Ripley, MS)
