The Colonial Heights Colonials routed the host Meadowbrook Monarchs softball squad by a final score of 20-2 in Thursday's league battle.
The Colonials (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors go into the Central battle with a 3-0 record.
The Monarchs now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Highland Springs for a non-league battle on Monday, March 25. Meadowbrook will confront a Springers squad coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The Springers record now stands at 0-3.
