In Thursday's league contest, the Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA), by a margin of 28-2.

With the triumph, Vasquez moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Arleta (Arleta, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 23. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 7-5. Arleta won 8-6 in their recent league contest against Poly (Sun Valley, CA)

In their next game, the Knights play the Faith Baptist Contenders (Canoga Park, CA) in a Heritage contest, on Tuesday, April 2. Desert Christian will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record.
