Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Western Harnett for a All American 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 26.

With the loss, E.E. Smith falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Golden bulls host Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Trojans in a All American 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Pine Forest lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)
