The Tupelo Golden Wave routed the visiting Ingomar Falcons softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Golden Wave (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Germantown (Madison, MS). The Mavericks go into the 7A Region 2 battle with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, Germantown toppled Columbus (Columbus, MS), 17-1, in a non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nettleton for a non-league bout on Friday, March 22. Ingomar will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 7-3.
