Jay Royals (Jay, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host L.E.A.D. Academy Lions (Pace, FL), 20-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Royals now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paxton for a 1A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 2.

With the loss, L.E.A.D. Academy falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Laurel Hill (Laurel Hill, FL) to battle the Hoboes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Hoboes enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Laurel Hill won 32-13 in their recent non-league challenge against East Hill Christian (Pensacola, FL)
