California High School Softball - Kennedy knocked off by Taft

In Thursday's league contest, the Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA), by a margin of 17-0.

With the triumph, Taft moves its record to 11-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Liberty (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 23. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 11-2. Liberty lost 11-1 in their recent league contest against Centennial (Bakersfield, CA)

In their next game, the Thunderbirds play the Corcoran Panthers (Corcoran, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 22. Kennedy will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 6-6 non-league Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA).
