North Carolina High School Softball - South Rowan nudges Lake Norman Charter

South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 6-5 in a league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Rowan for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 26.
With the loss, Lake Norman Charter falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a South Piedmont 3A game on Monday, March 25. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 4-4. West Rowan lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)
