Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northeast Academy Eagles (Lasker, NC), 18-1 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cape Fear Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. Lawrence Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Grace Christian (Sanford, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Northeast Academy falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to New Life Christian Academy (Rocky Mount, NC) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. New Life Christian Academy lost 19-3 in their recent league challenge against Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC)
