The Scott Central Rebels routed the visiting Newton Tigers softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Rebels (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Southeast Lauderdale topped McLaurin (Florence, MS), 13-2, in a league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kemper County for a 3A Region 5 battle on Monday, March 25.
