Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY) and the visiting South Bison (Cheyenne, WY), witnessed Wheatland's softball squad prevail over South by a count of 19-5.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Laramie for a 4A East match on Friday, March 22. Wheatland will meet a Plainsmen squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to East (Cheyenne, WY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, South moves to 0-3 on the season. The Bison travel to Campbell County (Gillette, WY) to meet the Camels in a 4A East match on Friday, April 5. The Camels go into the match with a record of 5-2. Campbell County won 12-7 in their recent non-league match against Central (Cheyenne, WY)
