Warren County Eagles (Warrenton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC), 19-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martin County for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. Warren County will face a Knights squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Wilson Prep falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC) to face the Trojans in a Tar Roanoke 1A challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
