The Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), 10-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Stanly for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Mount Pleasant will clash with a Rowdy Rebel Bulls team coming off a 14-2 league win over Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls record now stands at 9-1.

With the defeat, Albemarle drops to 1-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to clash with the Comets in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Comets go into the challenge with a record of 9-0. North Stanly won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
