In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Cheraw Braves baseball squad scored a tight 8-3 triumph over the Andrew Jackson Volunteers.
With the triumph, Cheraw advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Braves host Darlington (Darlington, SC) to battle the Falcons in a non-league match on Monday, March 24. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 1-4.
The Volunteers now have a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camden for a non-league match on Monday, March 24. Andrew Jackson will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
