The Aransas Pass Panthers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host George West Longhorns to 10 in the Panthers league win on Friday.

The Panthers now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mathis for a 3A Region IV District 29 test on Tuesday, March 25. Aransas Pass will play a Pirates team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Odem (Odem, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 4-11.

With the defeat, George West drops to 14-13 on the year. The Longhorns host West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Bears in a 3A Region IV District 29 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Bears go into the test with a record of 7-5. West Oso lost 10-5 in their recent league test against Taft (Taft, TX)
