In Friday's league game, the visiting Mount St. Joseph Gaels baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Archbishop Curley Friars.
The Gaels (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Gilman (Baltimore, MD). The Greyhounds go into the MIAA A game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Gilman was tipped by John Carroll (Bel Air, MD), 18-9, in a league game.
Next, the Friars play the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 24. Archbishop Curley will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 10-0 record after their 14-6 non-league win over William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA).
