The Asher Indians baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Strother Yellowjackets to 0 in the Indians non-league win on Friday.
The Indians now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wright City for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. Asher will play a Lumberjax team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Rock Creek (Bokchito, OK). The Lumberjax record now stands at 7-1.
With the defeat, Strother drops to 2-8 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Stroud (Stroud, OK) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, March 24. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 4-4. Stroud lost 13-4 in their recent non-league test against Crossings Christian (Oklahoma City, OK)
