The Aubrey Chaparrals baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Decatur Eagles to 0 in the Chaparrals non-league win on Friday.

The Chaparrals now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Denison for a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. Aubrey will clash with a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 20-7 non-league loss to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-15.

With the defeat, Decatur drops to 9-14 on the year. The Eagles travel to Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX) to clash with the Bullfrogs in a 4A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Bullfrogs go into the test with a record of 2-12. Lake Worth lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX)
