North Carolina High School Baseball - Newton-Conover defeats Bunker Hill

The Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) baseball the host Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 7-2 in Friday's league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Caldwell for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Newton-Conover will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-12.

With the defeat, Bunker Hill drops to 5-6 on the year. The Bears host West Iredell (Statesville, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. West Iredell won 10-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)
