Lamar Tigers (Lamar, MO) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Butler Bears (Butler, MO), 11-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Lamar advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers host Jasper (Jasper, MO) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, March 22. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Bears now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a non-league match on Thursday, March 27.
