The Chickasha Fighting Chicks baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Weatherford Eagles to 0 in the Fighting Chicks non-league win on Friday.
The Fighting Chicks now hold a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bridge Creek for a Canadian Valley test on Monday, March 24.
With the defeat, Weatherford drops to 3-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to MacArthur (Lawton, OK) to play the Highlanders in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Highlanders go into the test with a record of 6-3. MacArthur lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Chickasha (Chickasha, OK)
