The Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) baseball trounced the visiting West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS), 12-2 in Friday's league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Hope for a 5A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Corinth will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to East Webster (Maben, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 8-5.
With the defeat, West Point drops to 7-15 on the year. The Green wave host Caledonia (Caledonia, MS) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Caledonia lost 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Houston (Houston, MS)
