In Friday's non-league bout, the Dreher Blue Devils (Columbia, SC) baseball squad edged the visiting South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC), by a tally of 10-9.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Columbia for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. Dreher will clash with a Capitals team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC). The Capitals record now stands at 0-9.
With the defeat, South Pointe drops to 2-7 on the year. The Stallions travel to Camden (Camden, SC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 4-5.
