In Friday's league bout, the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) baseball squad edged the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), by a tally of 5-4.
Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Gamecocks enter the bout with a 11-4 record after their 13-5 league win over Metter (Metter, GA).
The Buccaneers (4-11) will now prepare for their bout against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians enter the non-league bout with a 12-2 record. In their last bout, Charlton County edged Clinch County (Homerville, GA), 13-3, in a league bout.
