Texas High School Baseball - Meridian wallops Frost

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX) and the visiting Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX), saw Meridian's baseball team gain a win over Frost by a tally of 14-4.

The Yellowjackets (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 7-7 record.

Next, the Polar Bears face the Itasca Wampus Cats (Itasca, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 battle, on Friday, March 28. Frost will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Wampus Cats enter the battle with a 9-2 record after their 15-2 league win over Italy (Italy, TX).
