The Harleton Wildcats baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Overton Mustangs to 1 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ore City for a 2A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, March 25. Harleton will play a Rebels team coming off a 2-1 league win over Carlisle (Price, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 11-2.

With the defeat, Overton drops to 14-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Waskom (Waskom, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 6-6. Waskom lost 7-6 in their recent league test against Beckville (Beckville, TX)
