The Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX), 13-3 in Friday's league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany for a 2A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Stamford will clash with a Lions team coming off a 7-6 league loss to Anson (Anson, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Hawley drops to 7-5 on the year. The Bearcats host Haskell (Haskell, TX) to clash with the Indians in a 2A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, March 28. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 1-5.
