The Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) baseball trounced the host Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), 9-2 in Friday's league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan County for a AA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Jackson will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 15-0 league win over Rutland (Macon, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-2.
With the defeat, Pike County drops to 5-10 on the year. The Pirates host Luella (Luella, GA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 7-7.
