Texas High School Baseball - Midlothian holds off Kaufman

March 21, 2025: Midlothian, TX 76065

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX) and the visiting Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX), saw Midlothian's baseball team gain a win over Kaufman by a tally of 9-5.

The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Forney (Forney, TX). The Jackrabbits enter the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Forney was overwhelmed by Royse City (Royse City, TX), 5-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Red Oak Hawks (Red Oak, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Kaufman will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 9-10 record after their 19-0 non-league win over Trinity Leadership (Cedar Hill, TX).
