The Southeast Lauderdale Tigers (Meridian, MS) baseball trounced the visiting McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS), 16-1 in Friday's league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they host Northeast Lauderdale for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. Southeast Lauderdale will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 15-2 league win over Leake Central (Carthage, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 7-7.
With the defeat, McLaurin drops to 9-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Chiefs go into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Pelahatchie lost 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Raleigh (Raleigh, MS)
