West Virginia High School Baseball - Richwood loses to Webster County

March 21, 2025: Richwood, WV 26261

In Friday's non-league bout, the Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), by a tally of 22-8.

Next up, the Highlanders encounter the Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV) in a Little Kanawha bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Webster County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 19-9 league loss to Tyler (Sistersville, WV).

The Lumberjacks (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Warriors enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Pocahontas County was overwhelmed by Gilmer County (Glenville, WV), 10-0, in a non-league contest.
