The Unionville Longhorns baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Sun Valley Vanguards to 0 in the Longhorns league win on Friday.

The Longhorns now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Downingtown East for a Ches-Mont test on Monday, March 24. Unionville will play a Cougars team coming off a 16-12 league win over Avon Grove (West Grove, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Sun Valley drops to 0-2 on the year. The Vanguards travel to Coatesville (Coatesville, PA) to clash with the Red Raiders in a Ches-Mont challenge on Monday, March 24. The Red Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Coatesville won 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA)
