The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) basketball edged the host Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV), 49-47 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 21-4 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Mills for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 22. George Washington will play a Cardinals team coming off a 92-51 non-league win over Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Cardinals record now stands at 23-1.

With the loss, Morgantown falls to 20-3 on the campaign.
