In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Jenison Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-9 win over the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lowell (Lowell, MI). The Red Arrows enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Lowell was edged by Mattawan (Mattawan, MI), 6-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Maroon Giants meet the Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 22. Kalamazoo Central will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 9-6 non-league win over DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
