Fans at Friday's non-league test between the Petrides (Staten Island, NY) and the visiting Midwood Hornets (Brooklyn, NY), witnessed Petrides's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Midwood by a count of 5-1.

The (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Madison (Brooklyn, NY). The Golden Knights enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Madison was overwhelmed by Curtis (Staten Island, NY), 18-7, in a non-league test.

Next, the Hornets battle the Tottenville Pirates (Staten Island, NY) in a PSAL Championship test, on Tuesday, March 25. Midwood will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
