Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors (Roanoke, VA), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Carlisle moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to clash with the Bishops in a test on Monday, April 7. The Bishops come into the test with a record of 1-0.

The Conquerors now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity at Meadow View for a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. Southwest Virginia Academy will clash with a Tempest team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Veritas School (Richmond, VA). The Tempest record now stands at 1-2.
