Next, the Buccaneers clash with the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 game, on Tuesday, March 25. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 5-5 record after their 5-2 league loss to Portal (Portal, GA).

The Tigers (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Gamecocks come into the 1A D-II Region 3 game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Screven County edged Bryan County (Pembroke, GA), 2-0, in a league game.
